Bacon Lane Surgery aims to ensure every child and adult who uses our services is free from abuse or neglect. Everyone at Bacon Lane Surgery works to help protect them and promote their welfare.
Safeguarding Adults and Children
Some children or adult patients may be at increased risk of harm, both in the community and whilst using our services because their health condition, or disability, makes them more dependent on others. They may need extra support to safeguard them from the risk of abuse or neglect.
At Bacon Lane Surgery we recognise that safeguarding adults and children at risk is everybody’s business.
We provide all staff at Bacon Lane Surgery with mandatory training about safeguarding adults and children that is relevant to their role. They are responsible for alerting our Safeguarding Leads to any concerns about, or suspected abuse of, an adult or child at risk.
